It's almost like the Pole Holder stand with two exceptions... It's still adjustable in height and exceptions are, I welded a perm base so he could drill a hole in the floor of his boat an run the wires up the riser and out the top where I was going to weld a base for his ram mount. After receiving the ram mount, he didn't need any more height.. Soooooo, I just put it in the box of things I have made that I didn't use.. Some day someone will say, "got one of these?" and there you are.......

My plan was to drill and tap the top piece to attach the ram mount, then weld it to the top of the riser. Also, wasn't sure the size of the hole in the top so the wires could come up the center. This is as far as we got since the ram he got was so big to start with..

Hang on to that thang. Might want to adapt it and use it later. Will let you know after this weekend. Thinking I'd cut the firs piece down and drill my deck and let the FF come down recessed so it would only stick up say 4 or 5 inches, then extend up say an additional 10 or so. Depends on how much recess I could get. Hmmmmmm. Dunno. I'll see how the new RAM is and what line of sight at what height I would want or could use. Trouble is at some height, it would get in the way of getting to the rods and above that would get in my line of sight.
