Personalized Crappie Tag

How many folks would be willing to purchase a personalized crappie tag for your cars and trucks? This is something that has to be approved by the state legislature. Once the approval is granted, 300 tags must be PRE-SOLD before they can be made. If you have ever noticed, we have tags for every species of wild animal and fish except crappie. Without a doubt, crappie is the #1 sport fish in MS. Why can't we have a crappie tag? This will have to be a concerted effort by everybody that crappie fishes or has anything to do with crappie. There will be an extra $31.00 added to the price of the tag. This money will go to the MSDWFP general fund. There has been mention that 1/2 of the $31.00 will go to enhance crappie fishing all over the state.

I pay a extra $31.00 a year now for my Veterans tag and the 31 bucks goes to the State Veterans Home.
