    1-1.5oz weight with two loops tied above it will work for you... That's how i learned along with a lot of my buddies. Some still fish that exclusively. I fish that way during the summer. I like the lighter weights in shallow water.

    thx, c123..........i used to fish that way every time, but got away from it when i read about all the other methods, ie. capps and coleman, etc.

    Move your weight closer to the bottom hook. Say 6 to 8 inches above it.

    Exactly. That's where mine are. But I only go up to a 1/2 oz weight ever.

    tried that tlow, still tangled..............guess it was too rough to fish that type of rig.

    Thats how I rig mine. 8" under 2 oz sinker, second hook 2 ft above sinker
