dd, on my 40, the oil sensor senses the amount of oil in the reservoir only.......goes off when its low. if you remember reading a few weeks ago, i undid my oil injection system, and now manually mix the oil, just for peace of mind. the guy at the shop said the sensor was bad, and mixing the oil manually should stop the beeping. well, i too it out couple of weeks ago, and it still beeps, on and off............i jut ignore it, because the oil is mixed and i can tell its cooling.

DD my oil sensor screwed up too. The alarm constantly beeped. So, I know this aint the correct solution, but I cut the alarm off... Just make sure I have oil in the tank and keep a watch on my water pressure. Seems to be workin ok...

Duck and Mo...that's a bad plan. Very bad. Cause when the alarm beeps for another reason, you're gonna assume it's one thing when it's another and kablooie.

Mo, you get a pass on account of nobody expects more out of you, but Duck, you know better. In any event...you're both ignernt.

Yep, re-prime or replace the sensor and get on with the electrical, you got work to do before Saturday. 33,000 acres can be down right scary when your equipment don't work properly.

P.S. If you decide to skip the electrical be sure and take along a good tow rope and a bailing bucket. Sardis can get rough when a front comes thru.

DD.....I have a feeling there will be lots of cameras at Sardis should you wind up getting a tow............what some people will do to try and get in the calendar
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.

If I need a rope, I'll get WB to drop his Toe Rope off with me. I won;t have time to do much. My Niece who lives in Korea is in town and stopping by the house Tomorrow after work. Ima see what all I can get done before she gets there.

    Default boat alarm

I am new to this site and not trying to get in your motor business but I just had this same problem with my merc 125. It is the low oil sensor inside the tank. The bad part is you have to get a new tank, I found one online for $70.00.
