    Default Well I got the boat ready...


    Well I have been off the crappie for the last couple months. I been chasing striped bass then hand grabbing for over the last month. I took the hose pipe out and scrubbed the boat up good yesterday. The boat had gotten real dirty. All that catfish mud is now out the boat and it is ready to hold some good ole slab crappie! Hope to pull some cranks this weekend and fine a few!

    Bout time you quit fooling with catfish. You finding any stripers at all? I found some every time I went out but couldn't buy a bite. I'll be out there Sunday

    Ha.. Thats right.. Trash fishing at its best! Didn't do too well with the handgrabbing this year. I believe the water got too hot too fast for our shallow boxes. I hit the striped bass a pretty good lick. Now it is time to switch back to crappie and the occasional striped bass. Hope to have some pics to post up soon if all goes well. I got a lot of new cranks for Christmas that I need to try out.

    I found them good in May on a drop off but I haven't been back in over a month. My bet is on the river channel where you saw them is probably best now. I hope to try them again soon.
