I can probably still load a 105mm and fire it. It would be fun to try it again. Bring it on.!!!!!!!!!

You aren't completely correct on some points. Well at least one. Back in 1966 when I accepted the vacation offered by the military life, no one stayed in bed like they do today. We are the geezers of today, the young guns of yesteryear. The generation that doesn't like to be up and working before 10:00 AM didn't exist when we were young. WE ARE GEEZERS AND ARE REAL PROUD OF OUR EARNED STATUS. I'm not upset by anything you wrote. I just wanted to let everyone know that GEEZER status is earned, not given.

Man, I remember when the Apache first came out. They were doing test flights at Fort Eustis while I was in AIT for the SkyCrane there. AWESOME I still like the look of the Cobra better though. must more intimidating to look at IMO

I'd pay good money to watch Maj in an Apache come in at 130 mph 17 feet over the treeline with Rees strapped to the canopy. Real good money.

Bet you could hear his squeel 3 minutes before the rotors.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
