I left mine on the front deck when I went and hid from the lightening. When I came back it wouldn't work and had water behind the glass.

Here's a twist. On my right steer button on the remote, the rubberized coating has cracked and split to the point that water could get in. Just sent an email to MK to find out if I can get a replacement for it. Should be under warranty and the only other problem I had - the right steer actuator breaking, they sent me a replacement piece at no cost. We'll see how this goes.

Anyone else had an issue with the rubber splitting and cracking?

Open up - 6 screws and dry it out. Maybe you will get lucky. Then again, their customer service on warranty has been very good to me.

Yep....and bury it in a box of rice for 24 hrs. that is supposed to absorb and take all the moisture out.....so they say anyway, lol.

I had the plastic case crack when I replaced the battery the first time which allowed moisture to get inside and wreck havoc on my directional control. Even with the foot pedal plugged in the wireless would suddenly come on and take control. I had to take the battery out to finish the day.
