    please start looking for a minnkota 24v variable speed TM, I am going to upgrade my father in lawss for him as a surprise christmas present

    i got a good used one layn in my shop!!!!!!!!!!74lb 24 volt minnkota maxxum..working perfect when i took it off my boat 6 weeks ago to mount the terrova...........

    no real preference for thrust, main issue is 24v and variable speed

    You want a 80lb. thrust? What kind of a boat you putting it on?
