I emailed Minn Kota and that is the one they told me to use. They also said use the MKR-18 plug and receptacle and the MKR-18A #6 wire adaptor. They also specified #6 wire; although half a dozen people on here will tell you you can "get by" without it. I found the best price on the breaker at Amazon.com.

Don't know this for a fact, but I'll bet a dollar of ES's money that you could bebop into an automotive store and get an auto reset circuit breaker that is non-marine on the cheap and I'll bet it'd be in service longer than the 101. All you would have to do is mount it where it wouldn't get submerged or constantly get wet. I'm sure an occassional dampness wouldn't bother it none.

Remember one thing you gewber, Minn Kota is in the selling business. When EZ, Maj. and I installed my 101, all we added was 1 cable to complete the circuit. 50 amp breakers will work great. When I bought my boat, there was 36v MG on it, I replaced it with a 24V MK and now have a 36V MK and nothing has changed except the wiring.

Agree. You're paying quite a premium for that jump from 50 to 60 amp. Saw a bunch of Marlan breakers for sub $10. Then again, how much is the auto-reset feature worth to you?

ES I don't know how to copy and paste from this I pad but found Great Lakes Marine on eBay. They have breakers and harness together listed by different boat manuf. Had a 6 ga harness with breaker for less than 60.00 listed under tracker.
