    Hey Torch.. Consider upgrading the transducer on the 797 to a HD ( XHS 9 HDSI 180 T) I did and it made a ton of difference. The HD transducer is part of the interference kit Humminbird was sending out to correct user issues. Does nut use the 800khz but it does improve performance. Just a thought.
