Yep, Hambones, but there's also, I think it's called #8 hotel, which is really cabins and duplexes located about a mile or 2 past Lakeway on the right. Lot of fishing folk stay there.

What's wrong with the State park cabins? They are cheap and have a lake view. Nothing else down there is as good.

Well I like the state park cabins, especially since they are right on the lake but they only reserve them if you reserve for a 3 day minimum stay.
What about a hotel with a good, clean POOL?

I always stay at either the Jameson or Quality. Quality is cheaper, both have pools but I never use them.

Thanks for all the info. I have something to work with for future reference now. Just getting some ideas on places to stay off the beaten path. Don't want to stay anyplace cheesy though & really prefer somewhere with cable tv, lol so a hotel might be best for me.
and a bed that's not hard as a rock, Don't wanna not be able to get up the next morning due to a back ache lol

Only thing about over there is there is a purty good redneck party spot rite there, mite be a little noisy. Few gunshots from time to time.
