They required 100% up front? I don't think I'da done that. Is that standard procedure for them? They failed to mention that when I talked with them. Bad deal.

I ordered mine end of Feb and they told me 8 weeks, it was ready to pick up 1st week of May. I wasn't in that big of a hurry though. I sho don't have people line up wantin to fish with me.

I think it took 8 weeks for them to start on it and about a week and half for them to build it start to finish. I was expecting that from what Hugh had told me about their build.

That's my luck too. Just about every time. That's why I very seldom ever borrow anything.

I really think they got busy with Government work with the flood and all.

They do awesome work but obviously they could stand to be a little more organized. I only paid 2000.00 down and the rest when i picked it up. This also is a testament to how busy and popular they are with customers. I hate its worked out like this Torch! Im sure they sick about too.

Torch I am sorry your having that kind of problems. What we need to do as CDC members is maybe ask Slab to post some sort of Thread on the CDC board about like the BBB so that other members won't be caught in a trap like you did. I for one wouldn't have given full payment up front for nothing. And as far as the government work goes they had your order first and they should have done it first.

And brother your PG version would have been my G version! I don't care how good of boat they build you if their customer service isn't any good then the boat isn't any good!

    Good Luck Torch!
