what time do you guys like to be on the water ? I know as the temps rise and it gets to be like 95 at 10am, I try to get on the water bout daylight because last year I would leave about 10 or so because I didnt have an umbrella. Still havent gotten me an umbrella but gonna try it wednesday and just wandering what time would be a good time to start while the weather dont heat up so fast and hot ?

    thanks

maachuu, from daylight to dark can all be good. The only thing I would think about is the light conditions, as the sun gets higher in the sky and penetrates more light in the water your baits will usually need to go lighter and brighter. In general, in the dog days of summer the bite seems to be better early. Right now though, with the cool weather we just had, the water temps are running behind schedule so I would think anytime of day would be ok right now.

anytime....just go pull cranks.....the reason we didn't pull after 1:00pm is because we had the limit......the reason we didn't want to go earlier is because we are geezers and we are lazy and did not want to get up early, lol
