I sent a email to Ram Mount customer service and they told me that total distance from mounting point to mounting point on the short was a little over 8 inches and was around 11 inches on the long one. I would like to see a picture of one installed.

I eyeballed then measured and The short ram mount is a little too short for my set up and the long ram mount is a little too long but I can lay it back at a slight angle and it should work good I think. I will have to add this to my want list and prioritize it later, lol.

ATM.....thats just what one of their customer service guys told me so.....I hope he's right. RamMount really should do better and put the measurements of their stuff in their catalogs and web site.....some actual pictures of the application installed would be a big help also.

Thanks C N. Looks like 7.37" on the short one and 10.69" on the long one. I'll have to go measure precisely now. And like G I'll have to put it on the Wish List and prioritize. Prolly right behing the 4 bank charger.
