The guy who made the PVC deal was from this board. He used a Tee with the I.D. close to the dia. of the shaft, cut the run of the tee in half like a saddle. Then used a PVC base that was like 5in. in DIA. with threads in the center. He then put a piece between base and tee the lenght he needed. You need to make it about 1.5 In. longer to put upward pressure on the shaft to keep it from bouncing. You could make the whole thing for under 10 bucks. So get after it T MAN

Tman, I'm ordering the long one. I'm pretty sure the short one won't reach on mine. With the long one you can angle it like at 75 or 80 degrees if it is too long. I spent about an hour calculating all those individual Ram parts trying to figure out how long they were. I THINK I came up with 6" on the short and 9" on the long.

Tman, here is what I did to hold my TM in place, cant claim the idea as I saw it somewhere on a board. I dipped the top of the pipe that is under the TM shaft in "Plastic Coat" or its called something like that. I also took my dremel tool and rounded out the top of the pipe so that the TM shaft would fit down in it. I had the "Rod Saver" laying around and not using it so I put it to use the deal it is through is just a handle I got at Lowes and it works good for me I dont remember the size pvc I used but I wanna think 1 1/2in and painted the pvc after I sanded it down some
