    Default deep water slabs


    got into a mess of deep water crappie at a private reservoir in Arkansas county Arkansas. They were in twelve feet of water, ten feet deep. mixed in will tons of yellow bass. slaters double trouble in yellow in red with a MINNER.:D didnt find em till middayDoh but when i did i caught all i wanted to in about an hour.Thumbs UpThumbs Up pictures to come when i get home

    i finally figured it out. the fish were were feeding on buffalo gnat larvae which was in and on the outside of the big dead timber i was fishing, the trees with more swarming gnats = more fish. and the crappie were schooled with the yellow bass. caught one yellow bass yesterday (not in pic) that was huge. about pound and 3/4. state record is a little over 2 (which i didnt know). was mad that they kept stealing my minners and i threw it back. hit my jig and minner like a freight train.
