If there is a bigfoot, then the Honey Island Swamp would be the perfect place for him. The Pearl River splits into the East Pearl which is the MS/LA state line, and the West Pearl. The area in between is Honey Island Swamp. I've driven a train through it a few thousand times. I've seen black bears and red wolves a few times and gators, wild hogs and such almost every trip.

It's true. I heard Troy being interviewed. He said that he started out craw fishing but the buyers wouldn't give him or the other fisherman a very good price for their catch.
