The big fish was 1.59 but Major had that beat until the jig tore out of his mouth. He got it to the top of the water but he got off before I could get the net under him. Sometimes they earn that name "papermouth".

Sounds like a good weigh-in for the conditions. Congrats on the tourney.

Tell you the truth, all I did was sit in the back of the boat and ride around while Scott did all the work, but I was a good net-boy a couple times. If you ever get an invite from Scott to join him for a weekend of fishing, TAKE IT. His "camper" is more like the Taj Mahal and he is a great cook to boot. Cooked crappie filets & hushpuppys for dinner Fri night and make fish sandwitches for our lunch on the water. "G" and HookOne, get ready for a great time for the next few days.

We are ready Maj.....all I have to do is hook the boat to the truck. We are going to leave and head that way as soon as we get out of Church. I fished Okatibbee with Scott last summer and he is a great guy and a lot of fun to fish with. I learned a lot from him and hope to learn some more this week.
I have spent most my life fishing........the rest I wasted.
