Thread: Who works?

I put in my time on midnights. Worked security at a hotel 11-7 while I was in college. Then went to school all day. That sucked. Then later in life, I did a 7 year stint as a police officer. The last four of those I worked 1800-0400. Didn't mind that so much as long as I wasn't rotating off that shift. Finally wised up in the late 80's and decided to make some money. Lol.

I am on call 24-7 so there are times when I have to come in late at night or early morning. Don I have a couple of uncles that worked there during that time but they worked days.

Kewl, what's their names? I knew alot of the guys on day shirt. OH, Ask them if they remember a guy they called Coke Bottle? LOL

Back in the early 70s I worked in downtown Memphis for Ma Bell, 2pm til 10:30 pm. Many a time I came in from Lakeview, or Tunica or Butla at 1:55 with my fish in the ice chest. I thought that was a great shift.

Probably. my Grandmother was a Gibbs from Gibbstown. I guess that's what you meant with Giggstown.
