of casinos. Taken by Desoto County Sheriffs on 5/3 I think.
That is the back of Resorts. The white building on the island behind is the clubhouse for River Bend GC. Of course you see no golf course behind it!
From behind Samstown, resorts and Hollywood in background.

I've been told it's gonna have to get to 49 on the Memphis gauge to get into resorts, hope they are right.

do any of you know of or saw an old wooden farm wagon in one of the casinos down there? i think it was inside one of the entrances and i forget which casino it was at. if you have seen the wagon i know the story behind it and how it got there and from where. funny story.
i've always gone to a lot of antique and collectible auctions and my auctioneer friend was having one at kennett, mo and i went up a day ahead to look the stuff over. while we were looking at things he mentioned that he had an old mule drawn grain drill but wasn't bringing it up to the auction and if i was interested i could look at it and make them an offer. he told me where it was and that was just a short ways from where i lived. he said, "i also had an old mule drawn wagon in that barn and someone stole it." i told him i'd bet money i knew who got it and told him who. it was a man from senath,mo. anyway the auction was held and i made an offer on the grain drill and got it and two years later i was up visiting him and he said, "i found my wagon." i asked where and he said in a casino in tunica. someone from kennett that knew about the wagon had gone to tunica and saw the wagon and told my friend. he and the lady that was overseeing the estate went to tunica and walked in the casino and was looking at the wagon and this lady from the casino walked up and asked if she could help them. my friend said, "yes, that's my wagon." she told him it was not that the casino bought it and had a bill of sale for it. he asked to see the bill of sale and the dummy from senath had signed his name to it. he was who i'd told probably stole the wagon. my friend asked how much they gave for it and she said, "400.00." my friend told her that they could keep it for 400.00 more or they were taking it from the casino. the casino paid for it again. they never did do anything to the man that stole.
That was interesting, thanks.
