I think I have a scammer trying to buy my boat. This guy sent me an email to send him info on my pay pal account and he would pay for the boat through paypal. Goes on to say his representatives will pick up boat from my location. The wording sounds like he is from another country. Anyway to check this out?

Did they also say they were going to send you an extra $50 to take it off craigslist? And that they were going to send a cashier's check for your $$ PLUS money to pay their "shipper"? SCAM. Tellum you think it's a scam and you'll never hear from them again.

I had one woman and three men email and say they were on some sort of mission/job and stuck out on a ship in the ocean and couldn't call me themselves, BUT would send their representative to come get the car and all wanted PayPal info.
Then I had multiple foreigners, both men and women, call my cell phone wanting the VIN and wanting to pay cash and come that very day. The "deal" went sour when I refused to give the VIN and also said I needed to meet them at my bank to verify the cash was real and not counterfeit!!!![]()
ran this by my IT guys torch......definite scam!!!!
I found a 5th wheel camper for $2860.00 on craigs list. It turned out to be a scam. I sent the info to the FBI.
