Can't figure these fish out (guess I'd get rich if I could), but I prefished Fri and did pretty well with two over two lbs and ten total fish. Today, I fished the same places, used the same baits and couldn't get a bite, yes, I pulled cranks. The two t-man and I caught were on a jig and a minnow. Oh yea, did I mention that t-man was my guest partner? He was and I couldn't put him on anything, went to several places where I'd caught good fish recently. Oh well, next time.

William and I got 3rd...I think I could love that lake if it were closer to me, it has lots of character. Definitely a different kind of lake than I'm used to. Conditions this weekend were tough with the fresh water and wind. I would like to fish it sometime when it is prime. Weird for me to be fishing with gators swimming around. This was the first time I ever laid eyes on the lake....I'll be back!

Feelay, give me a call next time you want to come down. Yikes, with the water and wind that everyone has gotten lately, no lake is producing much. The weather has hurt and helped. It's hurt the fishermen that haven't been able to get on the lake. It has helped the crappie spawn since the pressure was almost nothing. It will show in 2-3 years.

Yep, creek I think you may be on to something, I fished Friday also and caught a lot of fish and had some fair ones to boot. I should have said heck with the wind and went on. Feelay was fishing the same area as I did on Friday and look what he did. I think I am the one snake bit right now. Do ya'll know what it is like to have that WB feeling...it's not good. Sorry for the bad partner Maj but I had a large time. If ya'll ever get a cnace to fish with Maj he makes a great fishing partner.
