I got a feeling this year will make the '73 flood in the delta look very tiny. Yazoo's rising a foot daily and will be outta it's banks in a couple days. I'll probably have jumping carp in my pond before this is over.

I was on State Emergency Duty during the '73 flood and the first time I flew over to Vicksburg and up the Delta I thought I was flying over the Gulf of Mexico. Can't imagine it being worse but looks like it will be.
