    Default motorguide digital vs terrova

Has anyone used the motorguide digital? Looks like the wireless foot pedal would be something extra to loose. I is remote control operated but the whole unit looks mighty small compared to a terrova.

My brother had the 12v version on his other boat. He liked it in open water, but the response was too slow in the stumps.

Inferior product on every count as far as I can tell and no Auto Pilot or any of the advance features of Auto Pilot.

Got a Green Carp bud that has one and he loves it. He's on the PRo Staff, want me to check what he can get one for for kicks and giggles?

I bought a motorguide earlier this year. I'm satisfied with the motor itself, but the wireless foot pedal has been a problem in my boat. My boat is the low front deck designed for crappie fishing and the wireless foot pedal looses communication with the trolling motor due to it being on the low deck. I really do not think this would be a problem on a bass style front deck at all. I am going to buy the wireless hand held remote in hopes this will eliminate the problem. This may not be a problem for you, but it's just my .02 worth and some food for thought. If I could do it all over again, I would buy the Minn Kota.

Torch I have one on my boat the 24v 74lb model and it works fine but the turning response time is slow and a little jerky, the foot petal is mounted to my deck and I just use the handheld wireless that is clipped on my shirt and it works anywhere in my boat and it is a 20 footer. you can have more than one controler hooked up to it also so if you are busy your partner can run the boat also. It has lots of power and a nice removable bracket and Ive never had mine deploy by itself in rough water !!
