    Default An amazing sight....

No, I didn't have a camera with me, but the Tombigbee River in Monroe County is rolling. We were fishing for catfish in the channel in Aberdeen Lake last Friday and it was pretty amazing at the debris floating down the river.
After fishing, we decided to go ride around a bit and we watched a barge lock through. I wish everyone could have seen the amount of debris and logs that washed through with it on its way to Columbus. It was pretty amazing.
Anyway, with all the rain we have got and more coming, everyone be careful out there. Alot of the logs and debris you can see and some you can't. Slow your boat down some and PLEASE tell someone where you are going and when you are going to return. Cell phones do you no good at the bottom of the river or lake if the boat turns over.

Come get on the Mississippi and see trees and roots the size of school buses. Guarantee if you hit one it will ruin your weekend.

I used to put in at Ferguson and fish the ARK chutes for years with my granddaddy. Let me just say I've got tons of respect for the Ole Muddy!!!!!
