Thread: Water Valley Slasher strikes again!

We went to Grenada last year and having Mo. Plates I did have some concern at first, but I have to tell you we were treated better than I could have ever expected. The people at ALL the ramps were the best and I can tell you that it was great southern hospitality from all. Yes it helped knowing a few people, but other than one person at a bait shop, which got took care of quick our stay was excellent. I hope who ever is doing this gets caught because you all have some fine people in your fine state and its a shame it takes one bad apple to give people a wrong idea of the way it is.

All we got to do is get one of these alarms on a truck and slap a mo tag on the back problem solved and I get to keep my guns and CWP and every one keeps there tires!!!!

If memory serves, this is like the third year running I've heard of this at the Water Valley Ramp at Enid. It must be one or a pair of running buddies doing this crap. Do they have electricity at that ramp? Wouldn't take much to get a DVR and some wireless cameras up. Maybe $400 tops. The hitch would be power though, but if they have it, we could easily make it happen.

I'd chip in on that project and don't know if I'll ever put in at that ramp.

Hey Gewber. They make battery packs fer stuff like that now. Why not one of them fancy game cameras off in the bushes or sumptin? Heck fer that matter, since you ain't got no feshin license, why don't you go up there and sit in the bushes with yo eyefone? (that was to easy). You could get pics and call from the same device and help all our MO buddies out.

Best way maybe for local law to set up a sting car then have them on film at 10;jmo

Yes, they do and the area is very well lit at night. I have launched at that ramp probably 50 times since I have been up here for school and have never had any problems. I have talked to some good ole boys around the ramp many times and they were always as nice as could be. I know that this kind of behavior is from a single individual or from members of the same group (I am thinking probably 1 or 2 people). This is really frustrating, but yeah setting up some kind of surveillance camera and increasing the presence of patrol cars in the area would definitely discourage them.
