    What's your best guess for my charge for the following services:

    F-150 Oil change with new filter, LUBE LUBE LUBE
    New air filter
    Rotate tires
    Fill with 25.0 gallons of gas
    ????

    Ha, my estimate had it at $168.75 plus tax. The oil change tripped me up. I had

    Oil - $40
    Air Filter - $20
    Rotate - $20
    Gas at $88.75

    Ha I drive an f150 and just got all but the tire rotation two weeks ago... I was off about 40 bucks... I forget some people fill ALL THE WAY UP when they get gas.... I like cruisin on half a tank... Makes my pocket feel better

    I try to keep it at 1/4 tank as I live out in the boonies where there are no 24/7 gas stations.... so WE hicks must always be prepared!!! I hate stopping for gas so when I do, I get the BIG GULP! I can go a month on that tank, though. She just sips gas when I'm out cruisin!

    I don't ever let mine get below a quarter of a tank....the electric fuel pump in your tank is cooled by gas and if you get below a quarter of a tank you could get it hot and shorten the life of your fuel pump. Those pumps are not cheap....and to put one on they either have to drop the fuel tank or remove the bed from the truck so its a very costly job.
