Steve, without a doubt, archie phillips in alabama. He has mounted 6 or 7 fish for me, including a 4 lb crappie and he does outstanding work. Some have been almost 30 years ago, and they look like they were done yesterday.

Nice fish, but I would fry her up. Hold out for a true 3+ lber. You are still young enough that you can make many more trips to Grenada before ya croak...maybe! :D I am holding out for a 4 lber, I have filleted a bunch of 3 lb fish.

Nice fish Scott. If I was still down there I would come out of retirement and mount it for you. If I were you I would hold out for a 3. That tail can be fixed, but not a real good canidate for a great mount.

Awesome Job Scott. I'm holding out for over 3 lbs myself. Maybe it'll happen this weekend

Here is the info that I told you I would try to find from Jerry Blake. I have not used their service but I am sure that Jerry would not recommend them if they weren't first class.

    Hey Harry,

    Yes, the Taxidermist is:

    Geoffrey Osland
Email: [email protected] or [email protected]
    Phone: 952-445-6646

Like I mentioned in my post the mounts he did are the best I’ve ever seen.
