When I open a page mine loads about 5 or 6 times before stopping. The page is up but it is going wild down at the bottom of the screen as if if is loading and reloading. This is the only site it happens on and it started at least a month ago.

Mine seems to do something similar BEFORE I LOG IN. After I log in it is fine. I'm guessing it has something to do with the adds

I'm in IE with no issues other than not being able to view the classifieds on CDC
+1, exactly. Oddly I don't think the page is actually refreshing either but my mouse pointer won't work to click on a thread until I let it finish that sequence, I usually have about 1 second to click on something I want to open before it does that refresh sequence again. As I said earlier, it happens on every Crappie.com screen (and no other websites), it is happening as I type this.
Slab - DH and I are both on Internet Explorer, dou you think this could be an IE issue? I googled it and nothing came up, I also can't find anything in the IE settings pertaining to refresh rate.

I was on IE v7 and just downloaded v8, the problem seems to be gone now for me![]()

I understand it might be one of the ads. If anyone can identify the ad, I can remove it forever. Thanks to shuorc for point it out. I turned on the ads for me to try to help identify it. I had turned them off for myself only because I was was out of Internet range trying to get any sort of signal while on my Southern tour last week.
