I believe I got it least it will pump up now, think I had gotten the two new hoses mixed up and was trying to use the one that the bulb is leaking on (I think it is)

oh yea one other thing, this is my original fuel tank that came with the motor when I bought the motor new in 2003, should I consider another tank as a thought ??

thanks again for all the help

I have a personal friend of mine,,who owns a Marine Dealership here in Indiana outside of Indy,,took my small motor in to have seals replaced in lower unit,,and we were discussing what happens when the fuel,,that Obama wants to go to 15% alcohol added to reg gas..and he pulls out a 1" x 6" pine board with a gas line cut into,,wrapped in clear plastic, loaded with dry red pieces and white pieces of crap and says,,this is the gas Lines we are now replacing on new big motors of boats, that are burning 10%, and Mercury and everybody else in the motor business is now having a really hard time,,waranteeing motors cause they won't run right with today's gas in them,,and eventually everybody is going to have to replace all their rubber lines, including in the motors,,he also stated,,when it comes to small motors,,he didn't care who made them,if they weren't 2 stroke,, (and they were 4 stroke small engines with carberators on them,,,they are all about junk,,and most run like hell,,and Obama's EPA is only going to screw it up worse than it is..He also told me,,keep running Stabil in my gas,,continually as that was only thing that helped,,I asked about Seafoam,,he said run it in every tank of gas,,either stabil or seafoam,,and change any rubber line at least once a year from now on. just my 2 cents,,he is a merc dealer,,but works on anything and everything.
