    Sounds like he had tried it both ways.

    Saw this ad on n ms craigslist list. Don't know nothing about him though.

    To anyone interested in having a Jon boat cut down to make a one man boat.I can do this for you for 200.00.You provide the boat and 50 dollar deposit balance due when you pick it up.7 to 10 day turn around.662-801-9221

    I think the guy in Batesville that was making them was getting new Fisher 10 ft. john boats then shortening and narrowing them down. Be pretty expensive to buy a new 10 ft. jon then pay somebody a couple hundred to cut it down.
