    I kinda like Majors idea....just pull crankbaits all year....that way you don't have to keep switching stuff around...taking jig poles in and out, rigging for long lineing....rigging for spider trolling. No minnows to buy etc, etc. I think ol Majors on to something here dadgummit!

    I dont see why it wouldnt work all year!!! Maybe when they get real shallow you can use the shallow running cranks. Course I have no idea what im talking about!

    I actually tried them around 3 weeks ago. We were catching some good fish in about 14' and the fish were around 7' deep. Decided to try cranks for the heck of it. Gave it about 20 minutes with only one strike. Went back to minners
