    Default old fuel

I bought my first boat late in the season last year. It has a two stroke 50 that mixes the oil on its on. After burning a few tanks of gas through it a put it up intending on running it again but never got around to it. My question is should I drain the tank and start over before running it? It has been in there since last october. I put some marine stabil in it when i filled it up the last time. I dont think it has any ethanol in the gas but I cant be sure.

It will prolly be ok to run it ifn it was ethanol free. But on the flip side, it won't cost much to drain it and start fresh.

Run it, that gas is still good to go with the stabil in it. I've used gas that was treated a year before, and no problem's with stabil.

Thanks for the replies yall. I went and ran if a few minutes at a pond by my house to make sure everything was working good before I drove it to a lake. After putting the boat on the trailer, I pulled the plug and water came out. I guess now I will be making a trip to basspro to get it checked out. yeehaw

Let the boat dry put the plug in and put about 2 inches of water in the boat and look for a leak
