Not hard at all. One catch is that you'll need to have an ASC do it in order to keep from voiding the warranty. Think Feelay said Grizzly did his for like $50. Up there, I'm sure you can have it done at an ASC for about the same $ and not have to drive up to Grizzly. Still, might be a good excuse and it's only about 1.5 hrs from ya.
If you're not gonna pull a lot of cranks standing on the back deck, 45" should do you fine though. If I'm bad wrong, you can always get a longer shaft later for about $150 installed. Heck, this is your money we're talking about, so we might as well spend it.
I know I'm jerkin' you back and forth, but I imagine on your boat if I was standing on the back deck, the tip of your boat would raise up about 6". Add in chop and that motor would be coming up a foot or more. To combat that, you could fill a forward livewell if you've got one or move some weight up front (that battery will come in handy here).
All that said, measure yours bottom of head to center of prop shaft.. If it's in the range of 45, order your 45" Terrova and keep on trucking.
Wannabe...
