I just cleaned 23 Okatibbee crappie and a couple of them had bloody spots in the meat. It could have been caused when I chunked them from the front of the boat to the rear livewell. I don't know, do crappie ever get parasites of some type? I didn't keep the bloody ones just in case. Here's a pic of one of the filets.
