Silly Feelay, just call up your brother and get him to make 'em for ya. You could always promise to take him fishing in exchange.

Are the Big Green Eggs as good as advertised? I have been looking at the smaller version...

Yeh Don G. they are as good as they say. I had an offset smoker before this and it get old going out there every hour or so and feeding the dang thing 10 charcoal brickettes and a couple pieces of wood. To smoke a briskett the way I do it, it takes anywhere from 12 to 20 hours, you just never know when it's going to be ready. That's a long night right there, staying up feeding the dang grill. Now, with the Egg, I fill it up with Lump Charcoal, throw in a few pieces of soaked Pecan wood and once it stableizes at 225, I go to bed. Only one time have I had it go out once it stableized. So they are well worth the money man. Oh, you like Steaks? I can fill her up and open all the vents wide open and she'll get to over 800 degrees. Want it hotterleaf blower on low and set it to where it's pointing towards the bottom vent, pushing air through it. She's get atomic hot then

If they do flame up, it's with the top open and all ya got to do it close the lid and shut off the vents for a couple seconds. That'll put any flame out. Just be careful when you have the vents wide open with the lid down and it's screaming hot. You HAVE to burp it or you'll have no arm hair or Mustache left LOL. To burp it, just raise the lid a couple inches until you see the flames, you'll know when
