    Default Snow in Misery

If the snow and frigid temps wasn't enough, try tossin' in some fog just for FUN!

It does say minus 16. It was minus 17 when I started my morning! And thankfully not too much wind. I believe they said minus 26 with windchill. Was a nice hike in 20+" deep snow to tend to the dog and cats. I had to scoop snow for three hours yesterday just to get to the gravel road with a 4x4 truck! Have drifts over 8 feet deep in lots of spots in the yard and driveway. The wildlife is suffering. Have ice on under all the snow, too. No one moved in this area from Tuesday at noon till yesterday afternoon. Got lots done in the house. LOL

Sounds like some serious "cabin-fever" potential there C N for the next few days. Makes me feel plum guilty about crying about our temps of 33 degrees
and 15-20 mph winds that are keeping me off the lake today. I feel a whole lot better now after reading your and Slabs winter weather reports and seeing the
pics of all that snow and ice... B-B-B-R-R-R-R!!! I know it could be much worse!!!
On the brighter side: A great time for movies, board games, some good winter drinks, some good hot chili or stew, some good reading
and perhaps exploring some of the more popular indoor fireside activities.
Be warm and safe... I hope you all get a break in the winter time weather action very soon... I know you will be ready for it.

Our boss called us back to work today. Got lots done at home. Made a huge batch of beef stew and baked some beer bread. Organized files, did laundry, scooped snow, fed birds.... you name it, I probably did it.
