Just contacted the WWP for more information. I'll keep y'all posted on what I find out. You might want to go to their web page and look it over. They seem to have their stuff together.

Sounds good to me....if alright with ya'll Im also going to try and send a email to Mississippi Outdoors for some info and also on their facebook page too...we'll see what we get back.....

Hope this is not overstepping my boundries on here ( meaning posting something like a advertisement ) I guess is what I am thinking. But this is what I sent to MDWFP web page asking for info.

"I was watching the Ms Outdoors segment this past weekend about the Wounded Warrior Hunt that was held in Smith County. What a good project to have.

We it gave me the idea of us that enjoy fishing as much as some enjoy hunting are trying to put together and get information on doing a project for Wounded Warriors at the Resovoir this spring or summer up at the pavillion at Tommy's off Highway 43.

Who could we talk too to get info on how it was handled for the local area. How they came up with participants etc. This is off the cuff and we really want this to be a positive thing to bring awareness to this to another group of outdoorsman willing to help.

Any insight you may have would be greatly appreciated.

You feel free to do what you want. This will be concerted effort by everyone. The more, the merrier.

Y'all gonna fool around and make me come to the Rez to fesh, ain't ya? I would be willin to help with a boat with an empty seat and can prolly get a few other boats from up this way to help out. I'll see how many boats I can find that will commit to this.

What would be nice is to have a bunch of folks show up. Maybe during the spawn. Might be able to get a bunch of fresh chicken donated and get someone to cook it for everybody.

Y'all check your calenders and see what dates y'all have open if y'all want to persue this little project.

If this work out we need to do one @ Sardis this Summer pulling cranks.
