    Have ice now...... still misting......

    calling for around 20" where I live with 20-35 mph winds...... can we all say

    ..A CRIPPLING SNOW STORM EXPECTED TO HIT THE REGION...

    A POWERFUL AND POTENTIALLY LIFE-THREATENING STORM WILL IMPACT
    OUR REGION EARLY THIS WEEK...BRINGING A VARIETY OF WINTER WEATHER
    ALONG WITH IT. MIXED PRECIPITATION WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE EVENING
    AND OVERNIGHT HOURS...MAKING FOR DANGEROUS TRAVEL IN THE REGION. THE
    PRECIPITATION MAY TAPER OFF SOMEWHAT OVERNIGHT. HOWEVER THE PRIMARY
    STORM SYSTEM WILL BEGIN TO IMPACT THE REGION BY EARLY TUESDAY AND
    CONTINUE THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY MORNING.

    THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN KANSAS CITY/PLEASANT HILL HAS
    ISSUED A BLIZZARD WARNING FOR HEAVY SNOW AND HIGH WINDS...WHICH IS IN
    EFFECT FROM 6 AM TUESDAY TO NOON CST WEDNESDAY. THE WINTER STORM
    WARNING FOR MIXED PRECIPITATION IS NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 AM CST
    TUESDAY.

    * LOCATIONS...CENTRAL MISSOURI INCLUDING CARROLLTON...MOBERLY...
    MARSHALL...SEDALIA...AND BOONVILLE.

    * TIMING...FREEZING DRIZZLE AND OCCASIONAL FREEZING RAIN WILL
    CONTINUE ACROSS MID MISSOURI THROUGH MONDAY EVENING. A BRIEF LULL
    IN PRECIPITATION IS POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT. HOWEVER...HEAVY SNOW WILL
    THEN IMPACT THE REGION TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH TUESDAY NIGHT.

    * SNOW AND ICE ACCUMULATIONS...A GLAZE OF ICE IS POSSIBLE THROUGH
    TONIGHT WITH LITTLE SNOW ACCUMULATION. SNOW ACCUMULATIONS BETWEEN
    12 AND 16 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING.
    ISOLATED LOCATIONS COULD SEE 20 INCHES OF SNOW.
    * IMPACTS...POORLY OR UNTREATED ROADWAYS AND SIDEWALKS MAY REMAIN
    SLICK DUE TO THE ONGOING FREEZING PRECIPITATION. ONCE SNOW ARRIVES
    TUESDAY MORNING...ROADS WILL RAPIDLY BECOME SNOW COVERED AND TRAVEL
    WILL BE DANGEROUS IF NOT IMPOSSIBLE. THIS STORM HAS THE POTENTIAL
    TO BRING TRAVEL TO A HALT OVER MUCH OF KANSAS AND MISSOURI TUESDAY
    THROUGH EARLY WEDNESDAY.
    * OTHER IMPACTS...STRONG WINDS BETWEEN 25 AND 40 MPH ON TUESDAY WILL
    CREATE SIGNIFICANT BLOWING AND DRIFTING SNOW ALONG WITH WHITEOUT
    CONDITIONS. BLIZZARD CONDITIONS WILL BE POSSIBLE ON ALL MAJOR
    ROADWAYS INCLUDING INTERSTATE 70 AS WELL AS HIGHWAYS 65... 63 AND
    50 TUESDAY AFTERNOON AND NIGHT. THE STRONG WINDS MAY ALSO LEAD TO
    POWER OUTAGES... WHICH WOULD PRODUCE IMPACTS LONG AFTER THE SNOW
    HAS ENDED AS TEMPERATURES FALL TO BELOW ZERO BY WEDNESDAY MORNING.

    I can't confirm this, but I heard the bad weather ya'll are having is all Speck's fault. If I was ya'll, I'd kick him to Kansas and see if it don't get more pleasant come April and May. If by June ya'll dont' have some nice weather, you could always just let him move back and say you're sorry.

    Sure, Speck seems like a nice enought fella alright, until you get up close to him. Heck, his fishing buddy went so far as to buy a longer boat just to put a little more distance between 'em. I'm just saying.
