    Default S'up fellas

Popped into the office this AM to check no things. Just as I suspected.....I still haven't been off long enough to miss it any. Going to leave after a while and see if it's any different next Monday. I'll decide then, but if it don't get any better, I may just go ahead and retire.

I'm getting better. Not sure it's getting any easier yet, but I'm sure it will. Wanted to say thanks to every one of you that called, texted, posted or sent a PM. It really did mean a lot to me. I would name you all, but I'm sure I'd forget everyone. Did want to say a couple of special thanks though.

To Abraham and Joe for coming to the visitation. It was bad good to see a fishing face during all of that.

To Mike and April for the plant and the calls. It was good to be reminded that no matter the depths of my grief, I still was not going to catch any fish. But the part that helped the most is just knowing that no matter how bad things were, I was still way prettier than him.

Thanks to Minner for the calls and texts as well. Just knowing I would indeed be able to scam more free lunches from him made things easier too.

Thanks to Feelay for taking my call exactly when I needed to talk about something....anything other than my Dad. Oh and it was really nice to know that I missed a really great fishing trip too. Pffft.

A special thanks to Bigger for stopping by too. I'm sure he was trying to make me feel better, but I'm not sure that offering to take me to dinner, when he knew I couldn't go, offering to get me drunk, when he knew I don't drink, or offering to take me fishing, when he knew I can't catch a fish, was really the best plan. But hey, he tried and that's what counts.

A'ite, I said I wasn't going to list everyone, but you know I can't tell the troof no matter what. To CN, Maj, and Speck, thank you all so very much. Your thoughts and prayers were comforting and just knowing that CN and Maj interrupted their.......well...let's just say interrupted and leave it at that....meant a lot. And for Speck to admit in a teary eyed confession his undying affection, insignificant fishing skillz and to admit his unworthiness to wear the Chris #1 title....well, it just means a lot.

OK, I left out Tim....but everybody knows Tim don't count no how, right? Thanks buddy. I appreciate the call. Came at a good time too.

Seriously, from the bottom of my heart, thank you all. It is my sincere wish, that I never get to repay the kindness to each of you at a similar time. But if the time does come, I pray that I will be as gracious, caring and at least half the blessing to you as you were to me.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

A lot like the old Wannabe... except with fewer bad words. And Karate chop action. But, yes, still purtier than you.
