He's fishing another of my winter spots. Down below the spillway on the rez. If we'd EVER get enough rain this winter, maybe we can get some of to go down there. I just have to get ALOT more weight on my anchor so I can sit in one spot. You sho can fill a cooler full down there and fast if you're in the right spot

Spillway use to be a just about EVERYDAY stop on my home from work....even if it wasnt but for 30 minutes, still a good way to end the daycourse I think fishing is just good at anytime of the day....lol. That was wayyyyy before the one way road though lol

"Cast your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
Maybe we are just on the wrong side sometimes.....
Before I got into Crappie fishing, I'd hit it atleast once a week for Stripers. NOOO< not a white bass like these yankees from North mississippi call Stripers. REAL stripers, both sea runs and hybred. Always fun catching them blowing up the top and hooking into a 10-15 pounder. That's some fun right there
