    Major I have heard that at Pickwick some of the walleye and saugers have crossed and they call those saugeyes. Yes they are supposed to be good eating. I have eaten walleye.....have not ever had sauger though.

    In my opinion, I would put them just a little ahead of Crappie, but not by much. That may be because for me they aren't as plentiful. There are some huge ones at Greers.

    +1 I have had both and they are a little better than crappie but not by much.

    Havent done it in a while but i have been walleye fishing on greers and its a blast and sauger fishing at pickwick.Both are real good eatin bout like crappie.
