Photobucket? Shoot....I thought you was high class.

CN is the pichur fixin queen of my heart BTW.

I've got the same sort of set up as you wilbur, although the piece on my jackplate does not come that far over. It's basically under the leading edge of my jack plate. Good mount, but it does give me some issues with blockage at neutral and negative trim.

But anywho...you are forgiven for using janky pic posting methods. Just don't let it happen again.

Just that I lose depth at 18mph. When looking around at about 3 or4mph i have to trim motor up a little

Maybe we should chip in and get him a real fone. Then he would have to look on the puter and all problems solved.

There will be no need to chip in. After you pay for parking your boat He will have enough to buy a fone and a truck. LOL

Wilbur That looks like a good set up on the transducer. If you want to stop having to trim the motor up you can use a y cable and split the signal where you get the left SI beam returns from the left transducer and all other from the right. It will be pretty expensive so if it isnot a major concern I would leave it.

Wilbur, I would not think you have an issue with the td mounting position. As a matter of fact that looks very good. You may wanna go to the humminbird forum and Axed humminbirdgreg about yo problem. The only thing I could think of, is the step may be causing turbulence at higher speeds which would require you to move your ducer to the right to get out from behind the step.

The step is the problem. I have the same boat and had the same problem until I moved the ducer farther outboard.

There ya go Wilbur. Thanks fer the confirmation Maj. My boat ain't got that step, but I was guessin it couldn't be good fer a ducer.
