    Next to fresh bass or sacs I love fried okra.....grew up on it...never thought about having it with fish but it sure sounds good....usually have hush puppies and sweet tater fries......

    Yep.....hungry now.....lucky me I got fresh (not frozen) fillets just waiting for the call to duty...

    Try the fried okra with fish sometimes. The way I figured it, I already had the oil hot. LOL

    I'm starting on a spread that will look like that in about a hour for the kids. Only difference will be the weather you cooked it in. Right now the wind chill is -15 and there is a couple of inches of snow on the ground in St. Joe. Sure miss MS. Water that I found is all hard up here. Got a lot of pictures of geese walking on the ice.
