Thread: Well, that's something you don't see every day

Was headed back in from lunch a bit ago and decided to detour over the levee and down by the spillway to see what's shaking. Hit the down ramp and looked down the spillway. Ya'll remember that big twin engined cabin boat that pulled me in at the FJ? Guess where it was. About 150 yeards from the wing walls parked quartering down the spillway. LOL. That boat is...I'm guessing 24' long and a good 9' wide and the joker is choking off the snaggers from their honey holes.

Onliest thing I can figure is they must be using the fish finder on the thing to check the repairs they were making. You'd think them gubment boys would have a jon boat with a Priahna on it for something like that. Wish I had the time to ride down the old river run and watch 'em try and pull that joker out on the trailer. I would guess the river run is maybe 50' wide right in front of the ramp. Deducting for the trailer, he's gonna have about negative 2' to maneuver that thick hulled barge with and never mind the honkin big tree across and on the spillway side coming in for the approach.

Oh and don't forget about the slick as snot ramp from that natural spring running down it or the broken drop that acts like a wheel chock coming back up.

That ought to make for a good 3 or 4 hours of cheap entertainment if ya'll are looking for something to do today. LOL.
