Thread: Explain your Name

Dang mine is pretty plain, just my middle name shorten from Stephen to Steve which is what my family has always called me and the first letter of my last name.

What is the first thing that most people say when they get a fish on ? Well wannabe hasn't said it much but "There he is !!! "

Yep....I fish from a G3 boat so therefore.....G3 Fisherman.

I work on sick satellites so SATDOC1.

Mine is easy. I live in Cockrum, MS, I love to go crappie fishing, and I am a man. There you have it !!!

I first got my name as a nickname from days gone by (25 yrs. ago) when I used to eat, drink and sleep deer hunting. It came to me one Saturday morning when a
gang of my hunting buddies came to my house to pick me up for a deer hunting trip we had planned to take together that day. The night before (however) I had overindulged
in what was (then) my second favorite pasttime: Drinking and carousing with wild women to all hours of the night.
Well... I had been up all night (of course) that morning when my buddies came to the house to pick me up... when they came in my house they found me at the kitchen table...
eating a Jethro Bodine sized bowl of Special K cereal... trying to soak up some of the alcohol before leaving... ever since... my hunting buddies have called me Special K.

As an electrician, everyone on a job site naturally calls you "Sparky". When I signed up on Crappie.com, Sparky was already taken, so............ The little State lake close to my house used to be loaded with black crappie or specks. I loved hunting them. Thus I became speckhunter and later shortened it to Speck.

Began messing with compound bows when they first legalized them. Just LOVED anything to do with a bow...therefore Ga. Bow man!
