Why not just ask EZ his own self? EZ knows....G3 only thinks he knows.

Said another way.....EZ recently posted an instructional tip on building your own Okuma spool spacer compete with pichurs right down to how many inches of tape it took.

G3, on the other hand, recently posted about the joys of frolicking in the fields with free range boat trailers and only bothered to post a pichur of the hole in the garage door. He didn't even have the decency to post a video of him falling on his keester.

Now, I ask you.....which one has more of an eye for detail.

    Yeah, I thought so too.

I just remember the different length rods rode good in Maj's holders. I think I remember EZ had three piece racks in his boat and Major only had two....thats why I wanted Maj's spacing......but I think about 6 and a half ft. will work ok.

i asked g-3 because i remember him asking major awhile back, trust me i know better than to ask g-3 about his boat hook-up secrets ,that would be like asking doddon about how to mount a transducer or u how to catch a fish lol

Very good analogies there BB. I think mine are 7'-8' apart. I know it won't hold my 7' castin rod.

You're welcome. Ya know tho, you could mount em bout 2' apart, but they'd flop too much or you could mount em bout 15' apart, but it won't hold a 14' rod. The way I figured mine was put my shortest rod that I wanted it to hold and my longest rod that I wanted it to hold then kind split the difference. It's so simple, even a DD could do it.
