I know there has been a lot of talk about damage that ethanal is causing to motors. I just had my first scare and thank the god lord above, we caught it before it really got bad. I was having some routine work done on my boat (new livewell flapper and switch, new ethanal proof gas line and check out the prop and shaft) Friday afternoon. While we were talking about fixing what I needed done, Kenny asked when was the last time I had had my fuel pump bladder changed. My answer was "never". I only major thing I knew of that has been repaced was the brain. Folks, ethanal is ruining our motors not mater what we use to counteract it. Kenny is changing out all of the rubber lines inside the kalin and changing out several valves. About $100 of parts. Cheaper than a power head.

From what I have read there is no additive( Stabil, Seafoam, etc) that will cure the ethanol problem...You have to heat ethanol gas to 160 degrees before the water can be removed & at the present we don't have a way to do that as individuals..
This is just what I have read from several ethanol gas forums...
Any comments disproving this will be a relief for me..
