Default Do you think I have a problem? No smart remarks :-)

I just went from a 12 trolling motor to a 24 and at the same time had a 3 bank charging system installed. When I got back from fishing yesterday I pluged the charger in and all 3 batteries were at the same low level, and took the same time to recharge. In the past, my main battery was alwys almost fully charged when I put the single charger on it. It seems to me that the trolling motor might be pulling from all 3 batteries. Does that sound like a possibility? There installing a couple of depth finders for me this week and I want all problems to be taken care of at once. I'm having the depth finders run to the main battery to eliminate any interference possibilities. I just don't want everything pulling from the main battery and get stuck in the swamps with a dead starting battery.

What I ment was I know I have a problem. You can make all the smart remarks you want about the boat, just tell me if you think I have something I should be concerned about.

When they install the other electromics have them chech the wiring to be sure that the troller isnt hooked up wrong. If they know what they are doing they should check it with no charges.

You're right G, the crank batt in 5ys old gonna have it checked soon. All I was running with it today was the 788 on the bow and the forward live well on one min off three. That should not have run it down.

Major, you don't need to check a 5 year old battery, replace it! That is a good long life for a battery. I have never used a battery more than 4 years.

He for sure needs to replace it before he burns out the charging system on his outboard.
