Ditto, I keep the 3 bank plugged in 24/7, I think its more important in the winter. Maybe you could look at mounting a 3 bank under the console and doubt if it would be much trouble to extend 1 bank to the back where the cranking bat is. May be wrong tho, don't know your boat.
I'll look and TRY and figure out what I have this evening. It's in the front of the console and it's hard to see what kind it is
I have one battery up front and the other two in the back and they charge just fine. What makes mine more difficult is I have one troller batt in the front and the other in the back with the cranking battery which makes me use a 12 foot jumper on the troller positives and a 17 ft. negative for my Terrova but it works.
I have no idea what the sam hill you just said Stan. LOL All I know is that you said it was a pain in the Wannabe but you figgered it out
Where did youi get your batteries? If you get a 2 bank for your trolling batteries under the console, get a alternator charger for your cranking battery. It will charge your crank while the big motor is running. MK makes a good one. Oh yea, I keep mine plugged up 24/7 except when on the water.
I HAVE a onboard for the TM Batteries and thanks on the Cranking battery charger. Doesn't the big motor have a small battery charger on it that charges the cranking battery as you run it? To be continued tommorrow. heading home now to eat Baked Crappie, wild rice n corn, then get busy and see what I can tear up on the boat. LOL
Morris, don't most of there motors already have an alternator?
What brand batteries did you buy DD?
That's about par for DD. Right in the middle of his lesson, the bell rings and he's out the door. Too bad too. A little bit more time and we'd have finally learnt him something. Now we got to start over with a clean blackboard on Thursday.
